In fact, the sliding room dividers were developed specifically for Beaufort Park and were designed jointly with the Draks and St George teams. Today, hundreds of these beautiful dividers have been installed at Beaufort Park – and they have even been rolled out to other St George sites.

The apartments clearly comprise one living space so intelligence and imagination in layout is key. The movable sliding room dividers are perfect for providing privacy, and maximising light, while creating a “bedroom” which is separate to the living area.

Originally, the room dividers’ frames were in anodised silver. More recently, black powder-coated frames have been introduced to provide a striking contrast with the diffused laminated glass infill panels. The dividers slide against a wall for ease of installation and operation, while the top track is recessed so that the whole assembly enjoys clean, no-fuss lines.

They are easy to install, require very little or no maintenance and now come in black to suit our new palette.”
